Great germination, works as advertised

I planted this to reduce erosion and work as a ground cover and template for fall/winter cover crops. I chopped it down once it got to around 5-6 ft and let our first freeze kill it out... it's now december and I have amazing volunteer germination of annual grasses that sprouted under the canopy of this a little before it was winter killed with little weed pressure. This soil shall be most favorable in spring when I plan to actually crop it out. (central texas has little to no soil so i've had to essentially start from scratch and this has really helped)

Nitrogen fixing summer cover crop

We love sunn hemp because it is a warm weather planted cover crop that grows fast, produces big biomass, and fixes nitrogen. Not other crop really fits the bill for us in that manner. Not the easiest seed to find, we appreciate PV carrying this at a reasonable price.

Great seeds so far

I was using cowpeas for a summer cover crop, and they didn't germinate consistently, so I replaced them with this sunn hemp. In about a week, all my beds are popping up in new crotolaria, so I'm very happy so far.

good product

lots of seeds in order, germinated well. Good for goat forage. My goats have cleaned my pasture of all the nasty things they like to eat and are not happy eating grass and clover. This will help repopulate my pasture with forage. I am growing a patch that they cannot get to for seed and seeding the rest as I rotate pasture.
