I love these snips or shears. They are perfect for thinning out seedlings and cutting small branches for propagating. They stay sharp and when you need to sharpen them, are easy to do so. Don't try cutting larger branches with them, not meant to cut large ones. I like that they are red, easy to see when left on the ground or on a bench. Would recommend these for doing bonsai, plant propagation, or cutting out suckers on tomatoes or thinning seedlings.
These are excellent all around have in your back pocket snips. Good quality and sharp. Deadheading perennials, snipping twine, pruning roses, cleaning up the houseplants, opening bags of soil. Essentially very handy to have when you need something sharp and you don't want to haul around the larger pruners.
These shears are the best I've ever had! I have been using cheap-o ones from various stores "garden" sections. This year I decided I deserved a real quality pair..I had no idea what I had been missing out on! They are smooth cutting, and easy to squeeze, and strong. They feel sturdy, and of the highest quality. And they didn't break the bank!
